i've been so inspired lately to craft more. i mean, i sew for a living but there are other crafts that i'm interested in and never get to try. until this week. i've been adding in other crafty concoctions to my already fabric laden production schedule and loving every second of it.
on monday, my husband's office was closed for columbus day so we got to spend the day together. (hooray!!) he loves me so much that he let me drag him around to craft stores all day to prepare for an craft-filled evening with our babies.
we got supplies to make a bubble burlap wreath and to paint pumpkins with the kids (because let's face it.....carving them is messy and GROSS!)
after school we went to pick out pumpkins. the kids had a blast! i swear i heard "Mom! Look at that one!" about 427 times. adorable.
once we got home we threw a disposable table cloth down on the table (mr. mac's brilliant idea) and we all painted our punkins. it was a blast!
later, i made my bubble burlap wreath, thanks to the inspiration of my girlfriend sharon (@midtownsweets) and even helped riley with some rainbow loom bracelet action.
